Due to the growing demand for a light and well prepared meal, provided in a short amount of time, the chefs at La pentola have innovated the following dishes for your lunching pleasure.

Ciabatta

Traditional crisp Italian bread brushed with extra virgin olive oil and filled with a choice of:

Thinly sliced Rib-eye steak, 3year matured parmesan cheese, rocket and a honey mustard dressing.                   R60                                       
Smoked Salmon, brie cheese, capers with a light lemon, chili and coriander dressing                       R60

Haloumi Salad
A garden salad topped with slices of grilled haloumi roasted cashew nuts, drizzled with honey and dusted
with black sesame seeds and served with bread sticks.                            R54

Biltong Salad
A garden salad topped with a tower of sliced biltong, complimented with chunky cottage cheese, dressed
with a Dijon mustard balsamic cream                                    R55

Thai green curry chicken
Slices of chicken breast pan-fried with ginger , lemon grass, chili, garlic, green curry paste and fresh
vegetables bound with coconut cream and served on rice noodles.

Spaghetti Bolognaise
Mamma Giovanna’s Recipe of beef mince flavoured with red onion, bay leaves and whole peeled Italian
tomatoes tossed through with spaghetti and dusted with 3 year matured Parmesan cheese.                       R50

Zorba’s Chicken
Tender chicken breast pieces, pan fried in butter, onion, garlic, black pepper doused in white Sambuca
flavoured with fresh oregano bound with cream and a hint of tomato, with cheese and wrapped in phyllo
pastry and baked till crisp.                                                R60

Seafood Plate
Fresh hake fillet, calamari and mussels grilled toped with lemon butter, and served with
cream rice and seasonal vegetables.                                   R54

Fettuccini Alfredo
Pan fried bacon and mushrooms bound with cream and tossed through with fettuccini dusted

Shrimp and Pea Pasta
Jumbo shrimps pan fried in butter with garlic and peas, doused with white wine, bound with
